Meet Bernadette

Bernadette steps into this new chapter of service after a devoted 40-year career in midwifery. For 26 years she served women through independent practices in Delaware County, followed by 14 years in South Jersey, where she was blessed to support water births.

Throughout her career, she has walked beside women through pregnancy, birth, loss, and significant life transitions — including gynecological challenges and deeply personal crossroads. She approaches each woman’s journey with reverence, dignity, and trust in her unique life path and unfolding lessons.

Her professional background includes earning her MSN, CNM, and a Post-Graduate Teaching Certificate from the University of Pennsylvania. She has served as a guest lecturer for midwifery programs at both Philadelphia University and the University of Pennsylvania.

In January 2026, she became a Certified Death Doula through the University of Vermont. She looks forward to exploring how this work will take shape in the years to come.

Bernadette’s work has been shaped by profound spiritual experiences and sacred journeys, including:

  • A transformative stay at an Amazon River camp in Belize while getting her first certification in the Arvigo Technique. (2009)
  • A life-long dream fulfilled in experiencing the magic and mystery of the Galápagos Islands (2010).
  • A week-long pilgrimage on the Isle of Iona (2015), known for its healing energy, each day guided by prayerful intention.
  • Walking over 700 miles solo across Spain on the Camino del Norte (October–November 2021), a journey of devotion, reflection, and inner strengthening.
  • Self-growth and expansion during the Advanced Level 3 Certification in the Arvigo Techniques in Greenfield, New Hampshire. (2022)
